THE PUNJAB GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WELFARE FUND ORDINANCE, 1969 — It shall apply to all Government servants as hereinafter defined provided that Government may, by notification exempt any class of Government servants from the operation of this ordinance. It shall come into force on such date as Government may by notification, appoint in this behalf. The Welfare Fund shall be divided into two parts; Part–I for gazetted Government servants and Part–II for non–gazetted Government servants and each such part shall be maintained and administered separately in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. The contribution from gazetted Government servants received under section 6 shall be credited into Part–I of the Welfare Fund and the contributions received from non–gazetted Government servants shall be credited into Part–II of the Fund. The Welfare Fund shall be utilized for meeting the expenses on arrangements to be made with an insurance company or other insurer for the insurance of Government servants. Any sums remaining in the Welfare Fund after defraying the expenses referred to in sub–section (6) may be utilized for such benefits to Government servants and their families as may be prescribed.August 22nd, 2019 | 0 Comments
THE PUNJAB REGULARIZATION OF SERVICE (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2019 — It shall come into force at once. It shall apply to all the persons employed on contract in a department, who have completed three years continuous service before or after the commencement of the Act. THE PUNJAB (NON-GAZETTED) CIVIL SERVICES (PAY REVISIONS) RULES, 1972 — They shall have effect from the 1st day of March 1972. Subject to the provisions of Rule 4, these rules shall apply to all non-gazetted Government servants who are under the rule making authority of the Governor of the Punjab except work-charged establishment, establishments paid from contingencies; and holders of the teaching posts of the Education Department whose revised pay scales have been provided in Government of the Punjab Finance Department’s Notification No. F.D. (SRI)-10-7/70, dated the 12th October, 1970 as amended from time to time, and holders of teaching posts of the schools run by the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Organization of the Labour Department provided in Government of the Punjab, Finance Department’s notification No.F.D. (SRI) 10-6/71, dated the 14th March, 1972. THE PUNJAB FINANCE ACT, 2019 — It extends to whole of the Punjab. It shall come into force on the first day of July, 2019. There shall be charged, levied, assessed and paid a tax at the rate of five percent of the Annual Taxable Value of all categories of properties other than agriculture land, outside limits of the rating area, abutting to national or provincial highway or part thereof or within the area of motorways, in such limits and lengths, as may be notified by the Government.July 23rd, 2019 | 1 Comment
THE PUNJAB RIGHT TO PUBLIC SERVICES ACT, 2019 — It extends to whole of the Punjab. It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act. Appellate Authority means the concerned Administrative Secretary of the department or such other person or authority, as may be specified by the Government through notification in the official Gazette.
