ALLOTMENT POLICY OF S&GAD, 1997, AMENDED UPTO 2018 (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — This policy will supersede all previous letters / instructions / policy governing the allotment of Government owned residential accommodation issued from time to time. Only the Government servants posted at the Principal Seat, Lahore High Court, Lahore, Punjab Civil Secretariat i.e. borne on the cadre strength of S&GAD and Provincial Assembly of Punjab, posted at Lahore, are eligible for allotment of Government owned accommodation. A Government servant who is transferred out of Lahore or out of the institutions referred above will lose his eligibility after expiry of the period for which he or his family can retain possession of the residential accommodation.

THE PUNJAB DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PENSION SCHEME RULES, 2025, THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2023 AND THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2024 —- They shall come into force at once. This Scheme means the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme as specified in Section 18-A of the Act and the Rules and governed in accordance with the Voluntary Pension Scheme Rules, 2025 and the Non-Banking Finance Companies Regulations, 2008, in which both the employer and employee contribute, as per the First Schedule, to the employee’s pension account, opened with an Eligible Pension Fund Manager of the employee’s choice and such contributions are invested in an employer pension fund, as defined under the Voluntary Pension System Rules, 2005, either in a conventional fund or a Shariah complaint fund, as selected by the employees, until the employee attains retirement age, and the accumulated balance in the pension account at the time of retirement is withdrawn or invested further to generate monthly income during the post-retirement phase, subject to exceptions under the rules.

RECRUITMENT POLICY, 2022 FOR EDUCATORS (SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB) — One of the major objectives of the Government is to provide qualified teachers for the better education of students and also provide opportunities to unemployed qualified workforce. In this connection, School Education Department, Government of the Punjab is going to introduce this Recruitment Policy (herein after to be referred as the Policy) to recruit Educators on contract basis to improve quality of education and also to increase enrollment of school going children, their retention and to reduce dropouts. This Policy has repealed and replaced all the former Recruitment Policies issued by School Education Department, Govt, of the Punjab, Lahore. All vacancies left over in earlier recruitment policies shall be filled in under the Policy.

NEW SIMPLIFIED PROCEDURE OF PROCESSING AND DISBURSEMENT OF PENSION THROUGH PENSION‐ROLL (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — The new system was initially restricted to cases of Government servants retiring on superannuation and prescribed new formats for processing of pension case and disbursement of monthly pension through pension‐roll alone. After a smooth run of the new system in the roll out districts, it is now envisaged to extend the same to all kinds of pensions viz; Retiring Pension, Invalid Pension, and Family Pension.
