DEPUTATION POLICY AND STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF DEPUTATION (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — In supersession of all previous policy instructions on the subject, the standard terms and conditions shall be made applicable in case of officers / officials working on deputation against the post under Autonomous Bodies of the Punjab irrespective of the fact whether the deputation is a Federal or a Provincial Government’s employee. Deputation Allowance @ 20% of the Basic pay of deputation. A civil servant on deputation who is due to retire from Government service either on completion of 26 years qualifying service or attaining the age of superannuation may draw the encashment of LPR from the Borrowing Organization, if he continues to work during the entire period of his LPR / last year of his service, without repatriation of his services.

we have heard that one a person is on deputation from his parent department, he is placed on the bottom of seniority list. meaning there by the period of deputation is subtracted from his seniority. is it true, please guide
