THE KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA MEDICAL ATTENDANCE RULES, 2016 — They shall apply to all civil servants in service or retired of the Province of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and their family members. They shall come into force at once. THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORTS) RULES, 2025 — They shall come into force at once. Adverse remarks means the negative observations specifically identifying the deficiencies in performance, integrity or conduct of a civil servant recorded in his PERs. Character Roll Dossier means a comprehensive record of a civil servant’s career history including PERs, special reports, certificates for non-reporting periods, disciplinary actions, letter of appreciation, adverse remarks and other relevant documents. PER means the Performance Evaluation Reports specifying the criteria to evaluate the performance, integrity and conduct of a civil servant.

THE PUNJAB DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PENSION SCHEME RULES, 2025, THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2023 AND THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2024 —- They shall come into force at once. This Scheme means the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme as specified in Section 18-A of the Act and the Rules and governed in accordance with the Voluntary Pension Scheme Rules, 2025 and the Non-Banking Finance Companies Regulations, 2008, in which both the employer and employee contribute, as per the First Schedule, to the employee’s pension account, opened with an Eligible Pension Fund Manager of the employee’s choice and such contributions are invested in an employer pension fund, as defined under the Voluntary Pension System Rules, 2005, either in a conventional fund or a Shariah complaint fund, as selected by the employees, until the employee attains retirement age, and the accumulated balance in the pension account at the time of retirement is withdrawn or invested further to generate monthly income during the post-retirement phase, subject to exceptions under the rules.

POLICY OF CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — Conveyance Allowance is allowed to the employees to compensate their expenses for the distance of travelling between the residence of government servant and his / her place of duty (i.e; local travelling expenses). Conveyance Allowance will be admissible only for the period during which the civil servant held the post to which the conveyance allowance is attached and will not be admissible during leave or joining time.

RECRUITMENT POLICY, 2022 FOR EDUCATORS (SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB) — One of the major objectives of the Government is to provide qualified teachers for the better education of students and also provide opportunities to unemployed qualified workforce. In this connection, School Education Department, Government of the Punjab is going to introduce this Recruitment Policy (herein after to be referred as the Policy) to recruit Educators on contract basis to improve quality of education and also to increase enrollment of school going children, their retention and to reduce dropouts. This Policy has repealed and replaced all the former Recruitment Policies issued by School Education Department, Govt, of the Punjab, Lahore. All vacancies left over in earlier recruitment policies shall be filled in under the Policy.

TRAVELING ALLOWANCE FOR JOURNEYS ON TRANSFER (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — Traveling Allowance may not be drawn by a civil servant on transfer from one station to another unless he is transferred for the public convenience and is entitled to pay during the period occupied by the journey. A transfer at his own request should not be treated, as a transfer for the public convenience unless the authority sanctioning the transfer, for special reasons which should be recorded, otherwise directs.

THE KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA CIVIL SERVANTS PENSION RULES, 2021 — These rules shall come into force at once. Pension means a periodical payment, made by Government, in consideration of past service, rendered by a civil servant. Pensioner means a civil servant retired from service and receiving pension or a member of the family of a deceased civil servant in case of family pension. Commutation means the advance payment of 35% of gross pension to the pensioner for the specific period as specified under these rules, which shall be restorable when the paid amount is recovered. Family pension means a compassionate grant paid to the family at the rate of hundred percent (100%) of the pension.
