THE BALOCHISTAN GOVERNMENT SERVANTS HOUSING FOUNDATION ACT, 2007 – It shall apply to all Government servants. The Foundation shall be a Body Corporate, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act to acquire land in accordance with law and hold properties both movable and immovable and may sue and be sued by the said name. BALOCHISTAN PURCHASE MANUAL FINANCE — Balochistan Purchase Manual envisages to provide guidelines for making optimal utilization of the scarce resources. It fully recognizes the specialized needs of the different administrative departments in their own fields of specialization. There shall be constituted Departmental and Inter-Departmental Standardization Committees. These committees shall prescribe standardized set of specifications in respect to each and every item / category of stores to be purchased by other departments and for stores of common use. THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT, 2005 (GOVERNMENT OF BALOCHISTAN) –– It extends to the whole of Balochistan. Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force and subject to the provisions of this Act, requester shall not be denied to any access to any official record other than exemptions as provided in Section 15. The acts and subordinate legislation such as rules and regulations, notifications, by-laws, manuals, orders having the force of law in Balochistan shall be duly published and made available at a reasonable price at an adequate number of outlets so that access thereof is easier, less time consuming and less expensive. A public body shall designate and notify an officer employee to whom requests under this Act are to be made.
