FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PACKAGE (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — Financial Assistance Package for the families of civil servants who dies while in service and subsequent clarifications for the convenience and guidance of all concerned. No limit for length of service for the deceased civil servant is prescribed for grant of financial assistance to his family who died while in service. Thus the family of the deceased civil servant will be entitled to financial assistance even the deceased had served for one day only. Family of a civil servant cannot be refused such financial assistance simply on the grounds that financial position of the family is sound.
