ANNUAL INCREMENT (PUNJAB GOVERNMENT) — The increment shall fall due on the 1st day of December, following the completion of at least six months service at a stage in the scale. An increment shall ordinarily be drawn as a matter of course unless it is withheld. An increment may be withheld from a Government servant by a Competent Authority, if his conduct has not been good or his work has not been satisfactory. In ordering the withholding of an increment, the withholding authority shall state the period for which it is withheld, and whether the postponement shall have the effect of postponing future increments.

I am serving in grade 17 in govt of Punjab on contract basis since 3-5-2019. Now i am switiching my job into another grade 17 under govt of Punjab on regular basis in the first week of june that might be 5 6 June, 2020 inshaAllah. Am i eligible for annual increment?

I appointed in bs 17 in 2012 regularised in 28-11-2014 due to 3 days before increment we don’t have increment of year 2014. Not in regular pay or as personal allowance. Kindly guide about how we should proceed

If a regular employe is availed time scale promotion (BPS-15 to BPS-16) in the Month of July on complition of 8 years regaular service. i.e.,
Basic Pay in BPS-15 as on 03-07-2023= 35,800
Pay fix in BPS-16 as on 03-07-2023= 37,110
Question
What wil the status of Annual Increment?
Whether the official will be eligible for Annual Increment as on 01-12-2023 or not?
