Download THE PUNJAB LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (CONDUCT OF BUSINESS) RULES, 2018 — They shall come into force with immediate effect. Board means the Punjab Local Government Board constituted under Section 125 of the Act. Act means the Punjab Local Government Act, 2013. The Government shall constitute the Board under Section 125 of the Act. The Government shall appoint a Secretary of the board to deal with day to day administration of the Board and to perform such other functions as may be assigned to him by the Board. The business of the Board shall be conducted in its ordinary meeting. No meeting shall be adjourned until the agenda thereof is disposed of or the Chairman, for any reason to be recorded in writing, makes such order. The quorum of the meetings of the Board shall be fifty one percent of its total membership.
