The local Fund and public account of the Union Council shall be kept in the Bank, as far as possible, at the headquarter of the Union Council. The Bank accounts of the Local Fund and public account of the Union Council shall be jointly operated by the Chairman and the Union Secretary. Subject to the provisions of the Act, the accounts of the receipts and the expenditures of the Union Council shall be maintained in such form and in accordance with such principles and methods as are given in the new accounting model.
